Reynoldstown

Directly north of Inman Park is Poncey Highland.  It is bounded on the west by the Southern Railroad line (which leaves the neighborhood near Ponce de Leon Place), on the north by Ponce de Leon Avenue, on the east by Moreland Avenue, and on the south by the Presidential Parkway.   The southern boundary was negotiated with Inman Park in 2001 to reflect the fact that the Presidential Parkway now separated the two neighborhoods -- not Highland Avenue as before.  This new boundary was officially accepted by the City of Atlanta shortly afterwards. By the way, if you're confused about whether it's Poncey Highland or Poncey-Highland, you're not alone!  If you go to the civic association site, you will see that both forms are used.

Up the street from Manuel's is another long-standing Atlanta institution - Soul Vegetarian.   This restaurant usually has John Coltrane on the PA system, so how could you go wrong?  It is recommended for lunch and weekend brunch.  For dinner, a great place to go is just across the street from Manuel's -Barbette’s Cafe.  Named after the memorable French movie, Barbette’s Feast, this restaurant ranks consistently in the Best of Atlanta listings.
The world famous Jimmy Carter Library hosts interesting traveling exhibits, usually of an historical nature.  Co-located with it is the Carter Center, the organization dedicated to promoting human rights and the alleviation of human suffering.
